So here in wnc it’s wet and my driveway isn’t great. I was in 4wd and it was to slick to pull the hill I tried many times. So I shut the truck off while it was on the hill which is pretty steep. I go to move it maybe 45minutes later and it won’t start I killed my batteries trying. Any advice. Idrove this truck to work today and itrun fine

Is the nose up hill? Charge the batteries and somehow get it level or nose down. Then crank on it again.

Silly question but how full is the fuel tank you are pulling from, and do you have a broken shower head in that tank? You might have parked it on enough of a slope that you sucked some air, which might be making things tougher.

If it were me and it wasn't too hard, I'd put another 5 gallons of diesel in it while your batteries are charging.

Crank the line nuts to the injectors and purge the air when you're cranking

If you don't have more than half a tank in either tank...

Parked nose uphill, you want to be on the front tank. Nose downhill, you want to be on the rear tank.

Otherwise you risk sucking air.

Top up the fuel filter before attempting to start again. No sense trying to send all that air through the injection pump. Crank for 10-20 seconds with a minimum 2min cooldown to prevent starter damage. Crank with the pedal to the floor to help purge the air faster.

I found that my truck prefers the rear tank if it's on a steep incline. If I'm on the front tank and the gauge reads 1/4 or less, I'm asking for trouble.
