So here in wnc it’s wet and my driveway isn’t great. I was in 4wd and it was to slick to pull the hill I tried many times. So I shut the truck off while it was on the hill which is pretty steep. I go to move it maybe 45 minutes later and it won’t start I killed my batteries trying. Any advice. I drove this truck to work today and it run fine

Is there any fuel at injectors?

Do you have a pair of fresh batteries you can swap out for testing or can you charge both up?

Do you have an e4od? Did it overheat and puke? Might be hard to tell in mud.

These trucks need good battery power and fuel and they take it from there unless internal issues usually. They've taught me to KISS more than once haha.

Fuel drained back to the tanks.
Search for "air intrusion," that'll give you a good starting point for what to look at/replace.

If it is still connected try checking the fuel water sep and see if it might be the culprit or even a small pin hole in a line or injector not seated properly and also connections on the tank the plastic locks used get brittle over time and can crack causing the line to slide forward slightly causing a way for the pressure to escape the system allowing the fuel to drain back to the tanks
