To me, a PSD is different. I think that with the amount of boost that they build, they should have an intercooler stock. It's kind of like trying to pull a skier behind a boat while the anchor's still out. Maybe not real close, but was the first thing that came to mind. :Thumbs Up

That’s why they added an intercooler to the super duty 7.3s when they went to the larger injectors and started pushing for more performance. Every diesel should have an intercooler, and a turbo!

Does the inner cooler restrict the flow of air to the radiator? Any change in coolant temps?

I’ve run intercooled trucks with no fan in south Texas heat with no issues, if anything your coolant temp is going to be lower with the intercooler because of the drop in egts transferring less heat into the cooling system.

I ended up swapping out core supports and radiators when my radiator blew up, cheaper then get just radiator lol. Though I’m kinda interested in your pipes for intercooling and intake side of it. I’ve already got intake hat from Russ and a Cx racing 31x12x3 cooler my piping system is just some eBay stuff right now

After looking at the pictures of big blue, I'm getting excited about the intercooler for my truck. I'm also wondering who are the other five oil burners members who bought into the pre-order. It would be really cool if they were to chime in. We could start another thread about our trucks before and after the CDD intercooler install!

I do, I’ve been making stickers for the forum, organizing meetups, writing tech articles and referring customers to the site for years, but unfortunately with Facebook and especially the Facebook groups it has taken a lot of traffic from forums, it’s still a great space for enthusiasts that really enjoy certain platforms and want a more grown up atmosphere, but from a business perspective there’s a much larger pool for sales around social media, as much as I despise Facebook and instagram.
