Having troubles finding sending unit

1984 F350 Diesel 6.9.

My sending unit doesn't work. No one has it and at one point found a link here on maybe using a 1985 rear tank sending unit. Can't find the link again. Or maybe someone has a resolution?

I have seen somewhere kits that have just the potentiometer board and wiper. I have done this with used parts once and with a near free new sender I robbed the parts from another time. Great idea since the rest (except the showerhead) doesn’t go bad. I have the part numbers for oring to reseal sender to tank as well.
