This problem just started, I started pulling a grade and heard a bad misfire. It comes and goes depending on how hard I push the engine. I just recently replaced the IP, Don't know how many miles are on the injectors

That's how my truck was sounding and tapping got just as fast as the engine speed under acceleration. That knock would become harder pulling a trailer or going uphill as well as doing both at the same time. I just replaced my injectors with some of wespauls at Classic Diesel Designs and it went away and sounds real smooth now and truck is more throttle responsive. I assume a bad injector by the sound of it. And please don't make my mistake and think a set of eBay or part store injectors will be any better. Bad mistake more than one of us here has made at one point and time or another

Do you know if the stock injector replacements From Classic Diesel Designs will work with a factory idi turbo?

@Thewespaul will have any injector you would want/like/need for your application. He should chime in and give you the rundown and let you know which ones are best suited for your truck. And he also does rebuilds and balances them if u just want them rebuilt. Check his website out at Classic Diesel Designs. I love the ones I just got that are stage 1 injectors. They will wake that thing up without dumping fuel. Specific angle cuts in nozzle tips for better atomization for more power and cleaner exhaust. I installed a factory turbo from an idit on my na block that his injectors really compliment. As far as his stage 1injectors, they honestly work way better than the stock idit injectors I got online. Engine is much smoother and makes a good bit more power and more responsive to throttle.

Mine started once in a while to intermittent and finally to the point it sounded like that for about 4 months and they finally died and my truck was down for 2 days and right on time then injectors showed up so that I had my truck up that weekend. Got lucky on that one that the timing was just right.
