That’s great to hear, glad y’all are so happy with them! I’ve invested so much time and money getting the nozzle extrusion just right for these to idle as crisp as a stock injector but really open up when fuel demand is high, there’s at least a dozen iterations of the stage one nozzle that I’ve installed in the shop truck that didn’t make the cut and were trashed before I got the right formula. I was concerned that with the stock pump there wouldn’t be a huge improvement since the injectors are less of a restriction with a stock ip, but sounds like there’s a pretty noticeable change just swapping the injectors in. Thanks again for supporting CDD and sharing your experience, looking forward to how it does with that loaded trailer for sure.

Well as u know, I will give them a workout! Lol. Last I heard, that dodges opening for the shop is Tuesday afternoon so I should be pulling it then. Not tomorrow like I was hoping, but still got a day set. But if work requires me to pull a similar weight load before then I will jot bost, temp, egt, and speed #s down to compare gains over the injectors I had before they died on me.

Alrighty, so at 65 mph my boost guage stayed between 6-7 psi cruising with the load compared to the 3-5 prior to injectors. Coolant temps got higher than I like at 215 but still well within safe ranges but the egts did get a touch high at 1050 when going uphill but still didn't downshift as my speed remained the same were it wouldn't before the injectors. Still well within safe range, but I like 900ish and down. Intercooler isn't a must, but I would still prefer it. Kinda been wanting one anyways. The truck pulled the weight alot better with the injectors than before and I can honestly say it was a night and day difference. Also, it won't roll coal like before. I get a slight haze moving from a stop and between shifts if I'm hammering it. All in all, I made a good purchase and am very pleased with the results. As far as a seat of the pants Dyno, I think there is a considerable amount of gain here and opens up more room for gains wen the pump and turbo get upgraded. Also starts alot easier! Then again, that could be the new return lines keeping it from letting air in or even the new glow plugs and controller and relay. Not sure. But it definitely sounds very healthy, the beast pulls ALOT better, and I don't have to mash the skinny pedal quite a far as before. Really pleased with these and can't wait to send Classic Diesel Designs so e more cash to build my pump and turbo. Thoroughly pleased and really like the way this truck behaves now. Awesome work Wes!

I’d wager we could bring the egts back down getting the timing meter on the truck and dialing in the tuning, you might try advancing it just a bit and see how it reacts.
