I’m using the 6.0 Powerstroke wiring harness and running the 093 factory turbo setup. I don’t like how close #7 GP is to the up pipe, its really close in my opinion. Will header wrap keep this cool enough, or should I just cut off the 6.0 plug end and replace it with a much lower profile factory plug end? Thanks all!

I'm surprised at the angle u were able to get that picture! Lol. Impressive. As far as your concern, it does look rather close. Maybe lower profile plug end, maybe wrap the pipe, I'm no engineer but I would do both just to be safe. Just my opinion.

You can just pop off that plastic T and it'll make it much shorter. I'd do that and then put some insulation on it to be safe.

I'm using the harness and did the same thing. It is just a hair too short! Once you pop the outer housing off, it fits right as rain. Also, the wire will not melt being that close to the turbo. If you are a little worried, a bit of insulation will do the trick as others have stated.
