Haven't had time to post much on any progress on the truck in a while. Mostly due to the fact I'm driving the wheels off of it. Had some fun in the snow this morning. Should probably think about putting the heater core back in at some point.....

Brought it home.

And on the way, used it for it's first official truck business. Picked up some sheet foam insulation, some concrete reinforcing panel, and some pipe insulation.

It's officially a truck.

I went to the gravel yard and wanted to have a 1/2 ton of pea gravel put in the bed. Pulled up on the scale, almost got stuck pulling around to have it filled and then back to the scale where they tell me I have 1.3 tons. ???? To find out the first time on scale I was half off. 6" of snow and no tracks. So I have no idea how much I have, but she doesn't get stuck in the Drive way now and as soon as I have a decent day ill swap in the new transfercase and use the pea stone for landscaping.

There is Deffenitly a noticable load

One day I'll enjoy such luxuries like heat and AC. Daily driving an air-cooled vw and a hi-po engine sans heater boxes taught me a few tricks to keep things safe and comfortable.

I like heat and AC in that order. For many years my DD was a Hot VeeDub never had heater boxes, merged exhaust don't you know. Not too bad in FL but kinda sucked in NY in the winter...
BTW last one was a 2110 '66 on a four wheel disc IRS pan with a five speed:cool:

Maxxum 140 think it's a 2015. I started out on the open cab skip loader. Pretty nice to switch and get the heater radio and new tires.

I was finally ready to take this thing for it's first good test ride the other day after fixing or replacing everything I could find wrong with it over the past month. Hopped in and the clutch went to the floor with a nice puddle of brake fluid under the blown out slave cylinder:mad: I replaced it with one of those pre-bled master/slave combos cause I'm sure the master would have been next if I didn't do it too. Much easier than trying to bleed it, too. Crossing my fingers I actually get to drive it a bit before I find something else to fix :bail
