Can we have a single spot where air leaks are diagnosed by starting/running behavior of IDI? I propose the following which will be edited to keep up to date. Post ones you have found/fixed.
1- Starts, after priming, and idles fine for minutes, dies seconds after gunning it in neutral to > 1500 rpm. Found weak LP, good IP, small leak top of filter. No bubbles in filter return llne while idle since air not sucked in until IP oversucked (the technical term ) by LP.
2- Starts after priming, idles fine for minutes, ok to gunn it, no bubbles in filter return until AFTER shutdown. Hard next start. New LP keeping suction pressure positive until fuel drain back pulls vacuum and same air leak ahead of IP.
3- Starts right up and dies seconds later. Long cranking to start. Air in filter but not IP, hard lines, returns, or injectors.
