FINALLY got to start work on the '93 F-250 I bought back in March. I bought it sight unseen and had it delivered, it made it all the way from Fla to NJ before the kid delivering it smashed the front end unloading it from the carrier. Yesterday replaced header, grille and headlight assemblies.

Oil change. I used OptiLube additive for the first time ... When I finished I logged it (in my maintenance book) and realized that next scheduled maintenance includes dif. and tranny lube change ... damn it.

Also got my shift handle/lever mocked up and installed. Drove with it about 20 miles ... if I like it after a few hundred miles I'll clean it up and "lock it down".

Sons power steering went out on his YJ on his way to work. Had to rent a trailer and go get it right after getting some skin cancer removed on my side. When it rains it pours. At least the IDI had no issues as usual. Best vehicle I ever bought.

@Therkhan7_3Turbo yes it is I picked it up for 150 bucks it works ok and has 3500 pound axles and brakes but the liner was a bit to much weight for it I actually blew a tire on the way home and had to drive like 40 miles on the rim

New batree. Truck starts like a dream now. No more crossed fingers, hail Mary's and sacrifices to the diesel gods.
I feel this . My trucks been good lately and I'm slowly letting go of my crossed fingers grip..

Im finally getting around to making a new glow plug controller from a 6.0l powerstroke. I like pigtails better than what we got found out already that the purple orange wire is the ground to turn on the relay controller. The white and green for Communication to the ecu but seeing if the computer turns it off or on or relay controller does that is another story still working on it.

It could turn into me taking the pigtail off this and plugging them into are original controller.
