Hey guys so I'm thinking of swapping a DTA360 into my square body, found a motor for a decent price online and don't want to be like every other guy who 6bt swaps their square. The question i have is, will a adapter plate for a 6bt cummins to GM transmission fit on the 360? I know they are both very close in design minus size and the 360 being a wet sleeve. I know i can get adapters for the ford transmissions but i have more experience with the GM trans. Any help or knowledge would be awesome!!

short answer, no, you cannot use a 6BT adapter.

Carson Staffer is the only one i know of that makes adapters for the DT but they are $$$ if you go with a stick shift. to get around that i just put a medium duty transmission in my 94 F350 and a divorced transfer case. that is not without challenge either, it is hard to find an overdrive medium duty transmission.
