'93 F350 Crew-cab dually hitch install.
I picked this up used and am trying to get it on my truck.
I am running a 4' extension and after installing the hitch, I installed the extension and found it to be aiming at the moon. About 7 inches higher at the rear than the front.
I loosened the hitch mounting fasteners and when I drop the rear of the SuperHitch 2 inches below the frame, with the front of the hitch flush, the extension finally levels out.
Anybody with any experience?
I am thinking about having to use some hella' spacers to level this out.

What happens when you put the trailer on it? Still too high?

That's what I was going to ask. I would imagine they are supposed to point up a little so they level out with a load but that still sounds like a lot of lift.

Impressive, ain't it? A slight amount of rise can be a good thing. 8 inch rise over that 4 foot extension is a bit much. I should have them on the phone later this morning. They also sell a steel wheel that attaches to the back of that extension and I just about need it just to get out of my own driveway.

Are you sure its not supposed to aim up to avoid dragging? Class C motorhomes usually slope upward near the rear so they are less likely to drag on slopes. Mine is a weird rare exception, it doesn't. It does have skids to help prevent damage but ehh. It has some fiberglass damage probably from dragging.

On top of that, someone thought it was a good idea to extend the generator's exhaust pipe past the rear bumper by adding a long chrome tip. It drags on slopes where nothing should be dragging. I'm shocked it hasn't trashed the exhaust pipe or itself. It does have a thick rubber hanger to help it, but still. It's no fun hearing SCRAAAAAAPE on slopes.
