Return line kit

Im 100% positive there's been a bunch of posts on this, but I'm having trouble with the search on this forum.

I have at least 1 leaking injector cap. Are there any kits better then the others? Or should I even buy the kit and instead source o rings and fuel line myself and reuse my caps.
I'd like to use viton as there is a place nearby that sells b¿20? I think.

Anyone on here sell a good kit with viton orings?

Typ4 definitely has the best kit, they come with a better type of hose than the parts store kits and the caps are much better. The store kits often have burrs inside the cap that can nick the o-rings. I have one on my truck, 4 years so far with no issues.

I didn't have any problems with am O'Reilly store kit 2 years ago on my F250. I kept the old caps it had. I don't know if they were original caps or not though. I had ordered viton o-rings separately online before I realized the hose was bad. It was a waste of money though, at around $70.

I had to use one of the L shaped ones on the RV when I broke a fragile plastic tee that was meant for crossing over from the passenger side to the driver's side. I just looped the hose around in a bend. Same difference. It replaced the T and the dead-end cap. Since I had plenty of left over o-rings and extra caps from the truck, I just bought some fuel hose at Oreilly for a bit less cost than the whole kit. I used the truck's old camps which were superior to what the RV had. In fact, I might have used all of the truck's old caps as a way to compare the hose lengths to the RV's old ones. And bagged up the RV's old, originals for sure.

Thanks Jason! Russ sells a great kit too, can’t go wrong with either return kit, both have quality moldings and viton o rings. Install once and don’t touch it for years.

I'm going to be the odd one out here - I buy the absolute cheapest kits off Ebay(~$25 range). Lube the O-rings and inside of the caps with wheel bearing grease, slap it on, and you are good to go!
The lube used makes so much difference it's not funny.

I almost bought a $28'ish kit from Autozone for the RV but ended up not doing so, out of confusion about the hose type.

I used Dollar Tree petroleum jelly for the o-rings and caps on both the truck and RV, and it seems to hold up fine.

I don't like vasoline/petrolium jelly, because while it works, it only works once - As soon as you get the engine hot, it'll dissolve/melt, and be gone. Next time you 'disturb' the caps, it'll leak.
With the wheel bearing grease, it stays in place. I've pulled and reinstalled the caps on existing O-rings multiple times, disturbed the cap(you know, pulling off a line that's stuck on there), and at least a 90% chance it just plain won't start leaking after that. 9% chance, if it's leaking, I can just twist it back and forth and reseat it and it'll stop leaking. 1% chance there's actually something cut in the O-ring and I need to replace it.

Back before I learned that trick, I was continuously replacing O-rings - I'd have one leak, try to replace it and in the process disturb the ones next to it, then they would leak... Big pain. Especially for someone like me who is messing with stuff on the top of the motor on a regular basis.

I send a tube of lube in my kits, so far so good.
