If you left ar 3am what time would that put you at the Loves at 22 Old Forge Rd., Jonestown, PA 17038 ? I don't mind a little later as long as we can get the camper set up at the campground before dark.

@Dirtleg I was reading back through the convoy thread and saw you said not to fuel at exit 150 near you, do you have any other recommendations near you that are easy to get around in with campers and also have food for our lunch stop?

Hopefully at 3am traffic will be light for you, haha! That time would be ok with me though, as long as everyone else is good with it?

Yes. Exit 128 @ Ironto. There is a truck stop there easy on/off with a Subway if anyone wants to get something to eat.

@Dirtleg we will be looking for lunch at the Roanoke stop. Is there anything besides a Subway at that stop?

So my best suggestion would be to stop at White's on exit 205 in Raphine Va. It's a bit before Roanoke, about 60 miles, but you will have much better options for food.

It's the wrong way for me but I can meet up with you after you stop.

Ok, plans are to leave Jersey around 7pm and hit Roanoke around 1am. Snooze until 8am or so then hit the 2nd leg of the trip to check in around noon-1pm. I have a generator, air conditioning and two extra bunks if anybody needs to catch some shuteye late tonight/early tomorrow morning. Message me for a phone number. Safe travels my peeps.[emoji1690][emoji1690][emoji41][emoji41]

Where are you stopping in Roanoke? I live off exit 150 and would offer you parking but my driveway wouldn't work.

Meet up for breakfast tomorrow?

I honestly don't have a set place lined up. Is there a Walmart near by? Time for breakfast would be nice, I'm game for that.

i second that, while i will be ahead of Goose tonight we are still up in the air on a good place to overnight. it seems walmarts are getting much more picky and not allowing overnights and truck stops can get upset if you take a full sized trucker spot if they are full and someone has to stop for the night.

Exit at mile 150 on 81. Take 220 towards Lynchburg/Bedford. At the intersection to 460, about 5 miles down, veer right. Walmart is up the hill on the right at the next light. They also have fuel and there is a Lowes there too.

And about breakfast I spoke too soon.
My awesome girlfriend who has a much better memory than me reminded me we have dog training at 9am. So I can't do it. I'll see ya later in the campground.

The Walmart I referenced in the last post has had campers there regularly.
