Spoke with your buddy, gonna piece together a kit from lift components of various generations of our trucks. He's confident it will work, so in a few months i'll start putting it in and see what happens! When I get it in, if it all pans out well, i'll post up what parts I used from what year/model. The truck should look sweet at 6", and the extra height while driving will be a great advantage to me. Gonna have to figure out what to do for tires! I thought big tires for my jeeps were expensive, now I have to buy six :( haha.

I would put 285's on it but that's me maybe 305 but in dually that's expinsive. Anyways glad he was of help he truly knows what he's doin. An he is super nice an will take any amount of time even if he is not doin the work. You would love his truck his beams are real beefy. check out his pics on his web site if you haven't already.

does it have to be dually tho. if u think about about it the difference is in the axles right? witch staying 2wd you arent changing so as long as the front springs you are will hold the weight of the diesel/big block the rear are just blocks sky jacker does make a 4 and a 6"lift but only for the gas jobs. im in the same boat you are however i have a 92 f350 crew cab dually i put a 94 7.3 trubo idi in so i might just go with a 3" body but idk cuz i wanna get up to 35"s

That your truck in the avatar? I've seen some shots of it elsewhere. loving the alcoas on it, and that's what i'll be reaching for (19.5's though).

edit: and yes you're right about that. There's actually some cheap lift kits on ebay for our 2wd trucks, just gotta source coils if you go that route. any coil guy can do it.

Skyjacker lifts fit obs ford duallys also they make a 2wd version that will fit srw and drw trucks hope this helps anyone looking for it.
I own a 2wd drw 96 f350 7.3 diesel and have just had one put on mine no modifications. They cost $1,100 or so if you get nitro shocks $1,000 with normal shocks.
