Very unique truck for sale, custom dual tank veggie oil conversion done by master conversion mechanic. I love this truck so much and we are moving overseas so can’t keep it. I am hoping to find the right person who not only wants the truck but wishes to learn to process veggie oil for fuel. I am offering a full continued consultation on the process indefinitely into the future, you got more questions 2 years down the road I am happy to answer.
First the Truck

The Truck is 2500 SLT RAM which means it has the advanced option of braking power of a 3500 as well as power windows ect. It is 2WD which I opted for because it gets 22-24 miles per gallon, compared to the 16 mpg of the 4WD. It is an Automatic. 360,000 miles on a million mile engine.
Has nice set of air bags in the suspension meaning it can haul ALOT of weight and still have a smooth ride. It has an after market RACOR 500 series fuel filter added which helps prolong the engine and time between filter changes. Nice stereo, pretty good tires (better on the back axle) and a tow package. Recently replaced front crank seal and oil change.
The Veggie oil system
The truck is what is known as a dual tank system, it starts on Diesel from the stock fuel tank and you switch over to veggie oil when the truck get up to temperature. The tank fits prefect in the back below the rails and holds 70 gallons which gives you a 1500+ mile range! (solid tank off of an old school bus). Once up to temp you flip a switch on the dash and the fuel goes through a RACOR 1000 series filter and then through a 40 plate heat exchanger which exchanges heat from the coolant with the fuel and make the oil the same temperature as the engine when it switches over. You run on that for as long as you want and before you stop you flush the lines with diesel again to purge the system this trucks unique signature is it has a turbo timer off of a semi truck that will time your purge and automatically switch over after 2 min.
The truck has gauges mounted by the driver, a veggie fuel tank gauge, a temperature gauge which will tell you when to switch over, and a vacuum gauge which will tell you both if the filters are clogging and if there is air getting into the system.
What needs some love
Drivers seat is torn in the usual place
tailgate works but is a damaged on one side.
Paint is pealing on the roof but no rust
Multi colored paint is a matter of taste
AC not working probably needs a recharge.
