I am a new member to this forum. I also recently purchased a 1995 6.5L Turbo Chevrolet Z71 K1500. The hydroboost started leaking 1 week ago which obviously affected brakes and pwr steering. Found the rebuild thread that was generated on this forum by "ifrythings which is the best instructional video I have retainer removed seen on rebuilding the hydroboost. My question is once the hydroboost rebuilt is completed or a reman unit is purchased how is the push rod, spring and retainer removed but then reinstalled. The video doesn't show how that step was done.
