You have one hacked together front end there. The red piece is a drop pivot mount to correct for camber when you lift the front end, you should have another one on the other side of the crossmember.

Your truck has the wrong steering linkage on it, that linkage is for a solid axle not a ttb axle. It also appears that your missing one of the clamps on the turn buckle adjuster on the drag link.

Can you post a pick of the back side of the axle? The gear ratio will either be 3.55 or 4.10, 3.73 was not offered till 1999.

Yeah really! Good eye. That's one really odd front end setup...
OP do you get bad steering going over bumps?

Lol this is a parts truck I'm going to use for a mock-up for my upcoming project and iv only driven it maby 50 miles a few times getting kids and once to the car wash to see the owner cringe this bracket is on lockjaw a rusty pig I picked up on Craig's list but I keep seeing potential in it and it scares the wife

Since there's two of them... definitely TTB lift brackets. Looks like 2 different height attempts before returning to stock... lol!

Crossover steering like that don't play nice with the way TTB moves. There's better solutions, but may not matter a whole lot with the limited travel you get with leaf TTB. Google up 'swingset' or 'idler' together with TTB and steering for examples.
