We've been looking for a camper on and off, the budget is real tight lately and work has slowed down so I'm not getting the OT I'd like. Is what it is at the end of the day!

With the way payroll taxes are, youre almost better off getting your even 40 and having a side gig to take up that spare time. Careful though, as your side gig may start looking better than the 9-5. Thats how CDD started for me, couldnt be happier with my decision.

My wife works retail and usually works afternoons while I'm working overtime. No little ones yet so I figure do it while I can!
1,463hrs... That sounds like a little much in my opinion though. @Alwaysreadyrob thank you for what you do though. I may be across the country but I still have great appreciation for those of you putting yourself in harm's way for others.

And 2x @Alwaysreadyrob I appreciate it too I don't live there in ca I Live in Mt our fire season is a bit milder but we still see fires that burn till winter because only winter will put it out and the devistation that comes with it
Sounds like you have your priorities right.
i work some overtime on a regular basis but try to keep it in line. i got 4 kids at home, if i miss some overtime it is not really that big a deal.
if i mess up being a dad because of chasing the job and almighty dollar, that is failure to me.
i have to admit Chris, i keep thinking about moving to. get tempted every time i camp somewhere new lol
