You decided where you're getting carpet from?
We will likely use the same stuff I use in all my builds, it’s a black replacement vinyl. For work trucks it just works so much better than carpet. If you go through project jerry I believe I linked the one I used

I knew I wasn't the only one in his 30's with a kid sister in her teens wanting to learn about these old idi's! Sending my sister to a better teacher than me! Lol.

Didn’t really take any photos but got a lot of work done on the project today. We took a trip to the parts store this morning and picked up some parts, she bought it all with her own money from detailing some of my customer’s trucks.

Fresh batteries, oil change, new fuel filter, new to the truck cables and starter. Then ran hose to the bed to a spare fuel cell I had laying around. It’s only 6.5 gallons but it’s plenty for her to drive around the ranch on. After wrenching on the truck for most the day she got everything in and we fired the truck up. I drove it to one of our bigger 30 acre hay fields and taught her how to drive a stick, took some try’s but eventually she was pealing out on the ranch roads in no time. Proud moments.

Not stealing your thread but.....
LOL LOL I have to show off. Pics are 2yr ago when I was teaching our 10 yr old granddaughter to drive a stick & things got exciting when pasture gravel road came up to county hwy. She kept mashing fuel instead of brake. I had to take over & head down the ditch, then that big rock jumped out in front of us. No one hurt but another fix project for me.
I tell her that this was worth a million dollars experience she’s never going to forget!!! haha

Lookin real good bud! But she is gonna wonder why everyone else has that intercooler and she doesn't! Lol. I know that's the way I'm starting to feel lately
Maybe he'll upgrade her to a turbo for her high school graduation. That would be a great gift!
