I usually end up spending the day after the state fair in hutch packing up our booth. I also work in a weld shop.

I go by Collinsville somewhat frequently. Usually only get as close as the new quick trip at 75 though.

I did a little work through there on the pipeline from caney to Cushing about 14 years ago. Haven't been through there much lately though. I have a friend that was living in Skiatook, not sure if he is still down there or not. He has a black/orange mega cab dully dodge.

Anyway good to know there are some classic oilburners still in the area.

Sjwelds, Rdnck84-03, I weld at work too. I'm not a welder by any means, but I can weld (there is a difference). I work at a place that builds spiral staircases. I'm the wood shop guy, but when business got slow and our welder left, I got the task. I have been building all wood spiral staircases for years so the boss knew that I knew how to build them. Honestly, while I don't mind welding them, I wouldn't be too upset if business picked up enough for the boss to hire a dedicated welder so I can go back to doing mostly wood work.

Now for some bad news. The surge is still there, seems to have changed when it happen though. It starts doing it at just under 40 mph now and stops just under 45 mph. I am really thinking I just need to swap out the pump since the sticker on top says it was 20 years ago since it was done.

I have a low milage pump that I could put on it but it has been sitting for about a year not on an engine. Would it be worth swapping or should I just take it in and gone through.

Thanks
James

I'd swap them out. If the worst happens, it won't run. If not, at your current one does run, if poorly, until you can get another one. Also, since you have an extra, you may not have to mess with a core charge if you send it in right away. That's how I did it with Conestoga Diesel.

IDIBRONCO, I don't do all that much welding anymore either as I am now the shop foreman, I also operate our cnc plasma table, and I do about 95% of our cad designing. So unless we have something that needs done in a hurry I usually don't get to weld anymore.

I actually have several extras but I only know the history of the 1.
