I though you all might like to see the last step in the production of our Moose injector products (Moose Mates, Moose Misters, Moose Buddies). In order to improve quality and better testing, I have found a way to use my $32,000 common rail test bench to test these old school injectors. When I told the manufactures rep that I did this with my bench, he couldn't believe I found a way to do it, as these benches generally start out with over 5000 PSI of pressure for testing. Testing the injectors in this way, allows us to better ensure that the injector chatter is consistent over a longer period of time, and that there are no leaks.

Very nice Mr. Agne!!! I've run your injectors for close to a decade. Have first hand experience with their performance. Awesome to know they not only perform well, but are quality components that have been very accurately tested before they leave your hands to ensure they continue to perform for years.

Thanks again for continuing to support and develop quality IDI components.

Great information Mel.

I look forward to hearing more on this topic, I might be in the market for some injectors soon. My application would be: 1994 F350 Turbo IDI Crew Cab with eod trans totally stock.

On another subject, I have had three FI hard line failures, and I am looking to replace all eight injector hard lines via a kit. Any suggestion's? I did want to mention as well your return line kit worked great as well. Kudos

Line clamps are installed on both sets of 4 lines. The truck has been a daily driver for the past two years & the road I travel is very rough. Example: I was driving to work and I noticed some white steam or smoke coming from my right wheel opening. I immediately shut the truck off. What I found was the spin on fuel filter had loosened up to where it was about to fall off its filter pedestal. Never ran into that one before. So I am thinking the vibration & the fact the FI hard lines are 26 years old maybe time has taken its toll.
