First I would just like to say good morning to everyone well it's morning here I've been reading stuff on this site for a long long time and learned a lot of stuff and has a lot of very genuine information and a lot of very informative people. That said let's see if you can help me out on my little problem I've read already a bunch of things but I just want to make sure of the subject...

My name is Joe by the way pleasure to meet you all...
Okay I have a 1994 as the fender says F Super Duty but when I order parts it does say F Super Duty or 450. I gave the VIN number to Ford and they did tell me it was a 450. I'm looking to restore this truck it's a dump truck it's one that gave my father luck that I have been using so don't want to get rid of it. what year to what year can I get a cab to change cuz I really don't feel like welding panels plus I could get my hands on a clean 97 just the shell for $300 it's hard to look and find these things and sometimes they are really expensive I'm keeping my original Dash everything from the 94 any information is greatly appreciated I'm also keeping the hood and fenders.

Welcome to the site.

A 92-96 F-150, 250, 350 and F-SuperDuty will interchange. The 97 F250HD, F-350 and F-SuperDuty will interchange. But a97 F-150 and light duty 250 will not, as 97 was when the half tons (and these odd 7 lug 250) has a completely different body
