Seats cleaned up real nice after a good shampoo, got her started on removing the triple layer of nasty tint (anyone got any tips I’d appreciate it) and gave the truck a wipe down.

The truck will benefit greatly from a good compound and polish, the paint just needs a bit more work to be back to new, but looks great already. I ran the deodorizer overnight and it helped tremendously.

That's awesome!

I'm amazed at how straight that truck is!

If misfortune strikes with the title, hit me up! That bed will look beautiful on my truck... Just saying. Lol

Awesome truck, looking forward to watching this build!

Haha sure will, I just remembered I need to get you some pictures of that other bed... We both know someone who needs a Dana 60 in their rig too!

Heat gun and and carefully peeling it worked great for me when I had to get a state inspection. Got the goo off with acetone.

That’s what’s been working great for everything except the bottom layer which has been a real pita only coming off in small pieces

The tint on my rear window was so homogonized with the glass I had to use a razor scraper to remove it. It came off well if I got under it. If not it was messy.

Did it leave any scrapes on the glass from the razor blade? That’s all I’m worried about with this one. I’ve got oem glass that’s looking pretty good in my dually to swap in at this point

No scrapes but I was careful to not dig one side or the other. Keep it flat.

Few yr ago I used a razor scraper also & IIRC some alcohol. Kept the scraper flat as I could & it worked. No glass scratches either.

Turned out back then Oregon don't like dark tint on front windows of a crewcab......

Hope the title desk works out. Let me know if you need any VIN info or assistance tracking down title.

But if not, I call the hood and cowl! One of my OJ Broncos has the awesome 90’s factory Ford paint delamination issue. And I will look into what it would take to swap in one ton 4x4 axles!

If I had the $$$ right now I'd give you/her triple what you pd.
Good find!!!
Yeah 5-7 or so yr ago maybe I could have snagged something that cheap up here in Oregon. Now everybody thinks they are Gold Plated. Today something in this shape probably be $2500-$5000.

Same here in the Carolinas!

It's awesome that you are doing this project with your daughter. Spending quality time with her dad, learning skills, and getting a very nice truck out of it. You can't beat it man.

Keep us posted on the progress.
