Dont think I ever posted any pictures after I got the air/water intercooler on either, kinda a tight fit! Dont mind the wiring mess, Ive probably tripled the amount of wiring in this truck with all the gauges and gadgets.

Ever get this one going again? Ever take it apart and find what failed?

Also, where did you get the rpm governor spring? Mine stock is de-fueling right at 3,000 rpm and wont go past 3,300 max, unloaded. It should be around 3,600 or 3,700rpm, right?

Looks like @Hyde hasn’t logged in since August of 2015 so I’d be surprised if you get an answer Steven. Maybe some of the other members know

I thought this thread would have been long dead, @Steven Donald the governor spring was out of a Cadillac 5.7 diesel, about 4500 rpm. Wouldn't recommend without valve springs. A 6.2 Chevy spring should be a middle of the road increase.

@03wr250f I'm still around :cheers:

So what was the failure with that engine? That is a ludicrous amount of water ****.

I never did tear it down, I am very certain it was the water ****. If I were to do it over I would have kept it at one 525ml nozzle and coming in at 7psi or so instead of 4. The timing rattle when the **** came in was insane

I guess I am curious why you think that the water **** did it in? I have ran 2 500 ml before with a 300 psi pump and oh boy it scoots an there is a tremendous amount of power on tap with just a switch that way, but I dont think that it would be the demise of it. I took it off due to no need for that much **** regularly. at least for me. Mine is set to come on at about 5 psi, but i only run it when i am actually into the throttle, such as passing someone, going up a grade, or want some extra power. but between you and the enterprise it wouldnt be the first time i have heard someone say water **** may have been the demise.
I guess with boost, I really dont see that much water **** being the demise, as I know several guys on the facebook pages running that much or more ****. now down low I could definitely see it being way to much. I have experienced that myself with too little boost and rpm she will cough knock buck and whatnot. Just my thoughts.
