I got My front driveshaft back from the shop it was almost the length it needed but just not enough. They build Me a new one with the CV and yoke I had (Thanks Billy) they said it was the right way or it would be too weak if they just extended the original driveshaft, is this right?
I got it mounted yesterday, looks good but I will replace the front axle yoke and use all 1350 U-joints on the front, that is what I have on the CV already.
Now all I need is My shifter and I will be finally done!! I will try and use a obs 4wd shifter and make it work with the np205, shouldn't be too hard, I already have the aurora heim joints I plan to use.

Thank You, I pulled the carpet yesterday and it looks easy to get the cap out to install the shifter, I will put some sound deadening while I'm at it, the one You mentioned the other day.

Today I finally did the last steps to finish the 4wd conversion on My 93 ford, it only took Me about 3 years LOL, I installed the shifter I got from Gonecrazy (thanks Billy) and used a 3/8" threaded rod and aurora 2 heim joints I saw on Ron's thread in the archives, worked out great, I just had to build My own bracket to hold the shifter in place and look normal inside the cab.
I also made a bar out of steel pipe and a shaft from a shock and a couple isolators that I use to connect to an existing bracket behind the TC, I thought while it was there it was meant to hold the TC from moving back and forth.
I took it out for a ride and it feels very good, no vibrations at all so far and it sure feels heavy with all this iron hanging on the frame I was thinking I will look into some air bags (firestone maybe?) for the front springs, any tips on this subject will help.

Thanks to all that helped Me with advise and even pictures so I could understand things and move forward on this project :Thumbs Up.

Here are some pics I took with My cell today.

I’m about to start my 1985 F350 CC DRW conversion to 4x4. I have a 1991 f350 DRW cab and Chassis as a donar. I am wanting to have a 4” lift to run 35”s. What springs did you use and with the RSK how much lift did it have compared to a stock f350 4x4?

I’m sorry if this is a dead thread, this is my first post to oil burners and I’m still learning my way around.

Usually you will get a 2.5-3" lift over stock 4x4 by going with an rsk depending on springs and perch setup. You will easily clear 35s with that much lift, stock height will clear 35s with spacing the bumper out a tad with some washers. Welcome to the forum!

Awesome! Then I can just use some blocks in the rear! Later this week I’ll get a build thread started and will take all the advise I can get! Keep an eye out!
