HOTRODS ARE SLOW>> :(
got a 71 IH 1100 series in the shop right now for a n/a 7.3 swap.
and T-19.
il be starting a new thread on that here in the next few days
a little update on the manchero.
mocked up boost anf fuel pressure gauges for the show last month.
and i kinda dig the placement.
so i have 2 other gauges to add to it and cover up the radio spot.

new build is underway! rotating assembly includes IDIT, balanced, .020 shaved off the new slugs, total seal 2nd comp ring.
along with being coated.
Anderson is getting really good at coating these things!
my first set was-eah....
this set rocks.

yup, 4 psi isnt enough. i dont think the pump is doing its job still.
15 psi of incomming fuel pressure.
hope to get to time it today
but it was really advanced, by the clatter.
i retarded it a bit but its still not right

When is it ever enough? Just picked up some squeeze for the shop truck yesterday... that’s really weird to be cleaning up all the smoke with such low boost

so, i got the block together, went to install the valvetrain, and i had the 2nd from the rear cam bearing was installed back too far.
had to tear it all down, replace cam bearings again, and i finally have the heads re torqued.
i hate paying for shatty work.

so, I ended up selling the exhaust manifolds and head brackets.
also sold one of the turbos.
so I took it out for 1 last hot lap before I rebuild the headers and put the new turbos on.
I should bite the bullet on this and run a inline pump.

What pump do you have on it now? Sounds pretty advanced do you recall what you set it at? I bet the other turbos should be a good bit more snappy for your setup, I’m assuming it will be piped with the two little ones into the tp38?
