18oz is plenty big enough for an amateur.

Isn’t that like a sip...... I usually just stick a straw in a pitcher lol.
Cheers to Calvin. I’m sure he’s having a cold one up above as we speak.

I don't frequent of as much as I used to and just read thru this thread.

I had the opportunity to meet Calvin in 2011. He was a great guy and his personality and knowledge of IDIs will be sorely missed.

Godspeed and good rest.

When he helped I was impressed by the level of detail he would go into for a complete stranger like myself.

I just found out yesterday about Calvin, by accident when i realized i was still in a IDI FB group.

I had upgraded to Powerstrokes and gave Calvin alot of my junk. slowly fell out of contact.

He helped me out alot and we talked alot when i had my IDI trucks. id even sell him part trucks.

We hung out drinking ****** beer in that man cave talking about OBS dreams

I wanted to come here and say something because he WAS a true oil burner.

Nothing wrong with "just finding out" about Calvins passing. Nobody was a stranger to Calvin very long. It continues to hurt. I see him on an idi fb group and it makes my heart race if only for a moment. My life has changed. I know plenty about the idi but my all knowing source has left a huge hole in my base..

I've been out of the loop for much of 2018 so this is all news to me. Very sorry to hear about this. I didn't know him as well as many of you, but Towkitty will be sorely missed.

I've been in India for the past six months, I'm in Dharamshala now, up in the mountains where the Dali Lama lives. I'm here working with a Manipuri traditional doctor and martial arts master, basically breaking open my hip and rebuilding it, it's slow painful work. The Internet and phone services can be iffy, so I've been somewhat out of the loop. I've only been a part of this community for a short while but the brotherhood here is incredible. I met Kelvin first through posts, then pm's and email. Eventually the phone. Of course at first, it was all about him helping me and teaching me idi stuff. We moved on to just discussing everything - life, food, people, spirituality. Both of us shared our past - our history's. We spoke about each other's health and healing. We spent hours on the phone when I was driving from Texas to Florida to NY. Recently, I was thinking about him and reached out first via pm, then email. When he didn’t reply, I was worried. I pm'ed Corey and he gave me the sad news. What a loss. RIP my friend, you will be missed. I'm so sad...

I just reviewed this thread, as painful as it is.
Saburai, sorry you didnt find out sooner , not that it would change anything. We all miss this man.
I havent taken a count yet but im thinking this Memorial GTG will Definately be dedicated to Calvins memory.
Either way It will be for me.
Ill comment in the GTG thread also.
I miss my friend.

Thanks Russ. Last week was odd for me because it was a year ago I was in San Jose for work. I was trying to make everything work out so I could be at the GTG but finances, life etc just said to come home on time. As you know I did have dinner with Calvin that Thursday (met you and Ken too). Thinking about it now I am like "Dang, a few extra bucks for a rental car and hotel room, 48 hours of my time and I could have been at Joe's for the dinner and Brian's for the GTG and spent more time with you guys."

A bit of a life lesson learned for me when November 10th arrived.
