It would probably be easier if pull the steering wheel and remove the cylinder than swap columns wouldn’t it?

I doubt it at this point since I've swapped columns three or four times by now. I pretty much have it down lol!

I couldn't find anything saying how to get the cylinder out without the key unless I wanted to drill it out. I'm pretty sure this truck has a fixed column, not a tilt. I found a picture of the factory service manual online that said to replace it without the key required tearing apart half the column. It'll take me personally less time to swap it out.

Ugh... Well she's not getting any fuel. I'm not sure why. I'm trying to decide if I screw with getting it running or just try to drag it out. If it wasn't for where it is i'd just drag it without second thought. It's in someone else's lawn.

I did dump 4gal of diesel in the tank too to make sure it's not empty.

Fsv could be clogged. Jerry can strapped on the fender well with some hose to the lift pump?

I'm thinking about just running hose through the passenger wing window...

I'm hoping the rain holds off tomorrow so I can go mess with it some more.

Current... Progress? It cranks so there's that lol. One of my two batteries in it jumpered to my 91 with 2ga cables. The smaller cables go to an electric pump jerry rigged into that yellow fuel can. Nothing to see here, move along lol.

Letting the starter cool for a few minutes before I try again.

Let us know when she chooches

Oh I will. Its not looking very promising right now. Doesn't look like im getting fuel to the injectors. The filter is getting fuel now though. I'm really hoping I don't have to drag it around and screw with the chain hoist but I'll do what I have to.

Leave the fuel pump on while the starter cools to help it prime quicker

Yep I have been. Problem being that cheap junky e-pump is pretty shot. It pushes fuel but slow. I have it feeding through the stock lift pump too. Couldn't really get on the Hardline to bypass the mechanical pump.

Well I guess that e-pump is more shot than I thought. I tried the shreader valve again and got nothing. There's a pinhole leak in the fuel filter anyway so that's not helping.

I went to AutoZone and got a new filter. Idiot behind the counter couldn't find "universal electric fuel pump" in the computer so I guess they don't carry them:mad:

I'll pull my e-pump off my 91 tomorrow and get this licked yet. I tried yanking it back and couldn't get it to budge, it's sunk in the ground a few inches. Broke my chain too but honestly I expected that lol.

Problem really is starting too late in the day on my part.
