While I don't know the IDI that well. I do know P-pumps well.

The gear and lines should be a pretty simple affair. Custom gear and the lines would be fairly simple. Most of the cummins shops Haisley/Scheid/PDP etc... offer equal length straight lines. As long as the injectors used didn't have a goofy thread.

P-pumps use a tapered shaft with a single nut and are a friction fit. Pretty simple actually. On some rigs we run a custom adjustable gear, but they are not necessary. They just make timing changes faster.

Any updates Wes? This engine is a legend in the history of Diesel performance.

Well I came across an article discussing Max Lagod's work with international designing the dt466. Having a family member that worked on this project as well, I was able to dig up some more info. I talked to my family member who didnt remember the f-100 but put me in touch with some grey beards who owned speed shops in the 90s that competed against the truck. One said he knew where the truck was parked after Bill Jahns moved onto his Bonneville project after the block split for the third time. He asked me to call monday once he inquired about the truck to the owners over the weekend, just waiting on a call back. Further down the rabbit hole...

Just a few weeks back I had a Facebook diesel "expert" tell me that this engine has been debunked as not true. He also claims to own the second highest horsepower engine that Justin has ever built. I'll stick to the people on here that I believe thank you.
