Yeah, you are totally fuel-limited right there. You can see it just... hit a wall. Check if you still have the "torque screw" in your IP. If so, back it out and you'll gain back that whole middle section of the curve, and probably 50 HP right there.

Am I the only one that thinks the HP/TQ ratio is really interesting here? Nearly all the IDI dyno sheets ive seen are pretty close to 1:2 HP/TQ. So for 400ft-lbs the ponies would be around 200.

This is a 1:2.66 ratio and I just thought that was interesting.

This hurts (drilling holes and cutting). The Auber display fits a 43 x 43mm cutout (for you 'Muricans that is about 0.65 x the diameter of a beer can). This just happens to fit the empty space next to the WTS light.

The sensor installs were easy, 1/8 NPT into the driver’s side manifold… and I am the only guy around with a boost sensor stuck in an NA intake :rotflmao but that is a good placeholder for it for now :flipa

And finally the gauge in operation showing 0 boost on an IDI. The Auber has an illumination feed so it will auto-dim with headlights. I plumbed that into the radio illumination line. So far I am extremely happy with the Auber kit.

About how far does the gauge stick out? I am extremely **** about that sort of thing but really like these gauges. Looks great there as long as it doesn't stick out too far.

About 3/8" protrudes out of the dash. I am also picky about appearance, I really wanted it to be rear-mounted and invisible but that wouln't work. I am happy with the fit and finish of my install.

I wasn’t picking on it, it looks great man I was just curious I’ll pribably still go with it. Probably steal your idea for mounting as well it looks killer.

I'm going to bump this to ask how the gauges have held up for you. Any cold weather issues? I'm hoping to pull the trigger on a set in the next couple weeks.

Zero problems with cold weather. I find the Auber often (1 in 10) boots up wrong and shows 29.7 psi  but that is not a big issue. I don't think it likes booting, then has to reboot after glow plugs are done and the starter cycles power again.

I do recommend it!

I just installed the Auber EGT gauge. It seems to work well but does not like the cold. It will flash the EEEE error and random asinine temperatures and calm down, like it’s having seizures, until the cab is warm-ish. I found a post online somehwere they the temp compensation doesn’t work below 30 degrees. Since I’m not really interested in EGT during warmup it’s not a real big concern for me. I think I read the unit with two displays (temp/pressure) doesn’t have this issue. I liked the gauge because it was compact so it’s easier to find a home for in the dash.

I've had mine in my truck for probably over a decade now. It still works great, however i would notice that sometimes when i turned it on in subzero temps, the reading would be erratic UNTIL i fired up the truck. The second the truck was started and the thermocouple saw some heat it would jump right back to normal operating temps. Cab temps didn't seem to effect mine. Either way by the time i was leaving the parking lot or driveway it was acting normal.

I would buy again.

I was wondering if this was a problem of a negative input from the thermocouple rather than a problem with the display. Sounds like it is and therefore not really a problem.

Mine definitely continues to have seizures until the display is warmed up. The guy that said it was the temp compensation was from Auber I think. I have to find the post. I’ll look when I’m back at a computer that I can operate with some competency. I’m not so good with the phone.

Well mine should be here Tuesday or so. Shame I won't be able to use it until this summer after I get my turbo back from Russ and installed.

I was thinking about Auber first because they're supposed to be more of an industrial gauge as opposed to the automotive aftermarket which seems to be hit or miss lately. The company being based in Alpharetta, Georgia is a big plus in my book too!

@mblaney how did you mount your pressure sensor? Did you just run a hose from the intake snail to the sensor?

I'm considering just welding a small chunk of aluminum to the snail to drill for a sensor mount unless I can find a good spot on the manifold itself.
