Driver's door suddenly hard to close right

The plastic sleeve is important for closing the door. Easy fix. Lots of parts stores have replacement sleeves.

    Manual Transmission Oil Cooler

I'll post temperatures. So far on a 90 deg F day at 60 mph, no trailer, flat ground, 5 mile distance, I'm reading 150 deg transmission temp. Turning on the pump did not change the temperature, but I may not have left it on long enough.

    Manual Transmission Oil Cooler

Ok, here are the connections to the transmission. I installed the temperature sensor in a 1/8" pipe thread port in the cover. I checked for clearance with a probe(screwdriver) before installing. I did not disturb the hose barb fittings. Plan is to tow a 6800 lb travel trailer.

I'd like to install grab handles in the passenger side. One overhead and one on the windshield pillar. Any suggestions or things to not do?

    AC replacement

Personally, I am willing to spend the money for a new, easily serviced, reliable ac system. If I had 2 12 oz cans of R12, I'd swap or sell them and change to a new R134. I think the chances of a 30+ year old R12 system working are very small.

    AC replacement

RockAuto has both styles of accumulator/dryer for my 1988. Factory ac uses an accumulator, GPD 411339 for example, dealership install ac uses a reciever/dryer, like the 4 Seasons 33483. I have the factory ac. I have not installed the new accumulator, so I don't know if it will fit.

Nero- from what I have seen, converting to 134 from R12, decrease the charge to about 75%. That is very close to your 2.7 lbs.

    AC replacement

David85- Went with Sanden for availability. Displacement per revolution is about 10%:less than the FS6. The Sanden pulley is 1" smaller. Higher compressor RPM makes up the difference. I'm putting in all new parts. Condenser, hoses, evaporator, orifice tube, accumulator, everything.

Chris 142- thanks, that makes sense.

    AC replacement

That's what I thought. Does anyone know the function of the part between the condenser outlet and the high pressure hose to the evaporator?
