Latest update is truck is down. The check valve immediately gets clogged after cleaning. Gatta wait for a new/used pump, which I do have a lead on but I'm not in any rush to get it going as weather here in Colorado has been hit or miss so Ive been just taking the gas guzzler crawler. A new update. Coming home yesterday the truck was loosing power and finally died. Fires right back up but started to kind miss than dies. Another update. Decided to swap out the fuel pump as I noticed the pressure from the fuel filter schrader wasn't shooting fuel across the engine bay, was only coming out a little. Swapped that out and truck runs a whole lot better but she does continue to advance timing. I unplugged the timing...- Broken_Season

Update for y'all. I added a a bunch of stanadyne additive to both tanks. I don't have the issue at speed, but right off the line I can kinda feel it doing it for a split second. Alright! Got the power steering pump swapped out. Vato zone had the pulley puller and accidently gave me a fat discount on the rental tool that was brand new in the box. So now I have a pulley puller. Pump works excellent. I drove it home from Denver up I70 and she did 50-55 no problem. Thank...- Broken_Season

Update for ya. Swapped the new starter in and now the truck starts Everytime. Anyway I decided to throw the power steering belt on and see what she does. Will do. I'm replacing the starter as using a hammer to jump the solenoid doesn't work anymore. After that I'll put the belt back on and see what happens. I think first I'll pull all the lines and blow them out. Than hook it all back up with fresh fluid. (atf or power steering fluid?)- Broken_Season

Ive got a 84 6.9 4x4. Truck sat for 6-7 years. installed a new power steering belt and the fired the truck up. The steering automatically shoots left or right on its own with out touching the wheel. Im thinking the box is bad and not the pump.- Broken_Season
