    Your springs are fine, replace all the bushings and you'll be good to go.

    My 7.3 was fast with or without a trailer :dunno No turbo, completely stock... Even with 10,000 lbs behind it it wasn't bad, if your point of reference is a Duramax then yeah it's a dog but compared to anything of that era they're pretty decent really. No one says that 5.9's were under powered...

    That'll set a permanent overspeed fault and possibly warranty cancellation on at least one major brand, most won't turn over 2200 rpm or so now...

    Yup, what he says. Plus if I remember correctly the ends don't just push right back on easily... I wouldn't want to try and shove it together in the engine bay.

    IDI's came in medium duty Internationals with manual transmissions for a number of years. We have one in our service truck. As someone else said just find one of those and pull what you need. Single range transmissions like the 6+ aren't any fun to shift when they get worn out but that may just...

    At the N in the gauge is where my truck always ran. I wouldn't worry about it.
