    How is the tire wear? Does it drive straight down the road? Oh yeah where are you now. I am in Mesa Az. If close I can look at it. Your steering wheel needs to be close to on center. When you turn the wheel off center you start applying power steering power.

    with the caps disconnected on glow plugs measure from tip to ground on ohms. Change the ones that are open.

    Are you using shielded cable. Is it a single wire connection? Might be an interference problem.

    Yeah been up here for 38 years. My bio is wrong the date of birth is actually my discharge date. But I have used a few block heaters up North. I am in Az for holidays so not plugging down here. On the side of the block are water jackets lower than the freeze plugs. Hard to get all water out...

    If your radiator is full now you can plug in the block heater to help start it. 1 to 2 hrs.

    remove your blower motor and look inside for debris. Besides the other stuff as mentioned above fan motor it is probably not the resistor assembly since you said nothing about having high fan.

    Check out the ignition cylinder again. Especially if you remove the key in any position other than off. It sounds like the key is coming out in the accessory position.
