    2001 7.3 SD 4x4 Crew Cab {Stock }. I used a cooler from a 6.0. Yes it was used, cleaned it well and mounted it. Had to find one reducer fitting, brass 3/8 to 1/4 if I remember right. So much better than the oem setup. My old factory setup would go into limp mode on hills with my 22' closed...

    2001 F250 SD 7.3 4x4, replaced original cooler with one from a 6.0 engine. Easy swap. If I remember right you will need to find a hose nipple 3/8 x 1/4 to finish connection.

    My 2001 7.3 SD 4X4 has just over 220,000 and still does not use oil between 5000 mile oil changes. Have always used 15-40 Rotella dino.     Adjusting screw is opposite end of the pitman shaft. Lots of photos on the internet.

    Be sure and mark the position of the adjustable screw with chalk or paint. Mine moved when the lock nut was loosened. Makes it easier to see how much you adjust it.
