Mine does it for way longer when it’s warm outside for some reason. At around 20 degrees it seems to take forever to stop the afterglow but when it’s starting to get cold, even single digits, it’s pretty much just a couple flashes and it’s over.
My question would be why? Why add more bs to the truck, if you need to replace the correct belt driven pump every couple decades who cares lol. What’s the advantage of your “kit”?
Why not avoid all of the bs and just run the two batteries like everything else? That’s a serious question, I don’t see the point. You said the fans pull 70a at startup, 1800a of batteries don’t care lol
Thank you. It’s 99% there, I’ve got the 5 speed, Dana 60 and everything mechanical done. This winter it gets the repower and then it’ll be what I’ve wanted for a long time.
Is yours a lariat also?
Not necessarily, the front end could have a lot of positive camber and be pushing them the other way. Just an idea, but in some of the pictures it looks like the inside of the tire is bulging more than the outside.
