Looking for a mechanic in my area to take on repair project for my 1985 E350 4X4 6.9 WITH GEARVENDOR AND TURBO. Started blowing white smoke and pressurizing crankcase. Replaced injectors and ip. I am in Maryland. I have an 85 E350 XL 4X4 CAMPER TOP WITH TURBO AND GEARVENDOR. I do not have the space and time to work on it at this time. It's blowing white smoke and misfiring. R and d injectors, ip, and cam. Engine runnin great! Got to fix the cap and some minor body work. I think I destroyed the gear vendor by rollin around with my hubs locked so ima put a thurough trans in her. My first diesel, I'm hooked and obsessed.- openroader

Ok my people....it pains me to admit this but what is true shall now and forever reign supreme. My excessive smoke and no power issue came from a shop rag that was in the air filter blockin the turb inlet. Luckily I cought it before real damage occurred. Indeed, ill see what I can do tmro about a video. And ya know.....even though there is no such thing as a magic fix, I can feel the magic just bouncin ideas off the experienced. Yes new rd injectors. I will try to attach pic of gear drawing. When you say "strait up" does that have to do with the gears size ratios? If I turn my ip gear 360degrees what will that do?- openroader
