I live in Prospect OR. I have a 1984 F-350 Dually Flatbed 4x4. It has a transpanted 7.3l IDI non turbo. Interior is a bit rough. No A/C. I just changed oil and filters. I wish I was at home in SW Oregon. I would be more than happy to supply my truck for fitting. I have a 84 with a stock 7.3 non-turbo idi that is a strong runner. I want to start upgrading with the exhaust first. I'm in SOCAL for a few weeks tho. Bummer!- James1966

1984 4x4 dually flatbed with 7.3idi I want to get more top end for towing my 12klb fifth wheel. It has a T-19 4 spd. Which would be the best solution? 1) - 3" straight pipe exhaust, with a ZF-5? 2) - is a turbo even worth using on a standard transmission since I would go thru the gears so fast...- James1966

I am looking at buying a C6-E4OD (from 93 Bronco) to replace my T-19. I'm looking for more top end and adding a turbo at a later time. Can anyone tell me if there is anything about compatibility?- James1966

You guys are a wealth of information. I very much appreciate the info on which way to go with this project. Any recommendations on gear ratios, etc to get a bit more top end for highway mileage?- James1966

The Stanadyne Separator has been bypassed, it has the fuel/water separator (which I replaced) with the bottom cast aluminum water drain. I was thinking the rear axle is a Sterling 10.25 due to having a 12 bolt rear axle cover. I repainted the air filter housing and greased the seal on the the...- James1966

I do intend on using this truck occasionally to haul my 5th-wheel appox 12.5k lbs. The truck runs great. I've driven it several times. I ran it thru it's gears, 4wd high and low. The only two things that seem of concern to me is that brake pedal is soft, and doesn't return fully back up. The...- James1966

I bought this for $500. It has unknown mileage and a 7.3idi instead of the 6.9. I put new oil, fuel and oil filters, cut the bowl out of the air filter. The tranny appears to be the T-19 4spd.
