    On my 2002 f-250 7.3. Crew Cab I was replacing the u joints and broke the retaining ring.if anyone can help me locate a spicer c3-2-701 flange. Or spicer 3-2-1709. I would be grateful. Or a replacement part number.

    If your brakes are not solid, spongy pedal is that a sign of vaccumm pump failure? My brake light is also on and cruise does not work

    Sorry I missed this post. My PS has more comfortable seats. Less wind noise. Better a.c. and heat, think the fan works better. Its only an opinion though. I don't hesitate to take the 86 idi when we need to. Any of these Ford/IH trucks are pretty solid. In my opinion!

    Haha ha. Nope. I mean they all have some issues. But in my experience, Ford's were the least expensive and easiest to fix when a problem did arise. Of course lots of there are lots of other factors. But for me Ford diesels are the safest bet.

    Oh 2nd thought. Check car gurus. Get car fax on them. You will get an idea pretty quickly how it was taken care of. Check the oil, look underneath it, check for receipts in glove box.

    I am going to suggest you look for a 1999-2002 7.3 Power stroke. The idi's are great. But the P.S. are nicer in many ways. First off, still very reliable, 2nd nicer creature comforts. Easy to find parts. Reasonably cheap parts, unlike 2003 and newer. Plus its in a Ford.I look at the other...
