Lift pump question.
Question for y'all that are more familiar with these fine straight 6s. I wired my new lift pump to a dash switch that's fused directly from the battery. Pump relocated to the frame rail with a separate fuel water separator between it and the tanks. It's a fass dpr 02. The old one was not able...- HKT Firearms

Just installed a dual disk and new flywheel in my 95 PSD. Mine is loud and definitely does not shift as smooth as the original single disk, but seems to work very well for towing. Keep the progress coming!- HKT Firearms

Brake upgrade advice
I have a 2wd 1995 7.3 PS with a ZF5. Anybody have any suggestions for brake upgrades? I do a lot of towing. Around 1,500 lbs in bed of truck & 12,000 lbs of trailer and equipment. Trying to keep it around $1k but open to all advice. Thank you in advance.- HKT Firearms

Not necessary anymore. Plug in to the OBD, do some parts changing, if that fails to fix it, change more related parts, if that fails, it needs a new engine. Technicians = parts changers. One of my goals is to someday put a 12 valve Cummins in my '94 IDI 4x4 crew cab with an NV4500 transmission. I love the simplicity of the IDI but it leaves a lot to be desired when trying to tow at highway speeds or through hills and mountains especially.- HKT Firearms

I have a 94 crew cab 4x4 E4OD NA IDI, & a 95 ext cab 2wd psd with a zf5. My pop has a 1997 2wd 3500 dually 12v Cummins with a manual 5 speed.
