I have run into this. Nearly drove me nuts. What fixed it was pulling PCM connector and putting diaelectric grease on it. I have fixed two that way. Both were stalling under load. No codes.
I really don't know. I acquired it from an impound yard. It is complete with everything except the alternator. Give me a couple of days, when it quits this infernal raining, and I will see if it will fire up. If it sounds ok make me an offer.
I know a cowboy that tried this same thing. He had been roping cows for years and when a nuicance doe started hanging around the large business he worked at, he thought how cool it would be to rope it in front of everyone. Well after the blood-letting was over the doe went back to the woods...
