7.3 IDI fuel pump
New unused fuel pump for 1991 F250 7.3 L diesel, at least that is what my notes on the box say. The box has Carter fuel pump number M60278, which would be correct. I checked once. Saw they said blue, it was the truck I bought that was blue. In any event, I do not see it listed anymore. It is on their website. Cornerstone Chevrolet in Monticello, MN. No price listed. It is a good strong running truck. I only traded because I am on a glide path to retirement and needed to trade newer while I could afford to do so.- foresterdj

Yesterday I traded my 1991 with 7.3l for a newer pickup. Still a great running truck. I traded it at Cornerstone Chevrolet in Monticello, MN. Anyone looking for a good IDI diesel should contact them fast. I claim it has only 146000 miles.- foresterdj

Tire chains or off-road tires for occasional mud
Mud better have a bottom, or nothing you do will help. That said, chains are a fantastic traction aid and putting a set on should not take more than about 10 minutes. Swapping to already chained up spares, are you kidding me. Have been a Forester for 38 years and have certainly logged thousands...- foresterdj

Well, not today, but back in February. Hauled my new to me 1998 Jeep Wrangler home in dump trailer. Worst roads I ever drove on. But truck did great.- foresterdj

Start Issue???
Was your ignition switch VERY hard to turn? I ask because I had a no start issue with my truck today. It had not been run since before Christmas and we have barely seen above zero until today. Ignition turned very hard, like I needed two hands to turn it hard. Glow plugs worked, but no starter...- foresterdj

Well that's probably not good
Installed my new return line kit last Sat. In the process, some fuel from old lines runs out and pools around the front and rear passenger side glow plugs.
