Just a little trick that some people might need. The image above is the driver side mirror. Look at the pivot point where the mirror frame is bolted to the goose neck. DON'T DO THAT! The best and easiest way to mount mirror brackets or other accessories to door panels or body panels and some thicker panels is to use Rivet Nuts (Rivnuts) OR Plus Nuts (+Nuts) You won't have to access the inside of the panels to install. Glow plug controller cover
GREAT IDEA BUT REMEMBER TWO THINGS: 1). That 'Z' bent resister bar GETS EXTREMELY HOT. If the inside edge of the coffee can gets too close to it, the resistor bar can melt right through it and plastic will drip down onto the resistor and the controller creating a stinky mess. 2). CUT...- Fixnstuff

Throttle cable melting
YES that 'Z' bar resistor gets EXTREMELY HOT. Hot enough to ignight any combustible material that comes in contact with it, possibly starting an engine compartment fire. Glow plug controller issue.
The pitting on your battery terminals is caused by arcing from a bad connection / bad cable end. BATTERY CABLE ENDS (the battery clamps) were not mentioned. If you have those clamp-on type that clamp on to bare wires at the ends of your battery cables, THOSE ARE JUNK. The wires being clamped...- Fixnstuff

Yes, 'Ignition Actuator' at Autozone (A Dorman part) and it's $11.99, pick up in store. If you ever have to do it again, remember this.
