1992 F-250 4WD regular cab.

Looking at buying a 92 7.3 IDI how well will it tow?
I've towed an IH 856 (over 10,000) with my 1983 6.9 4 spd 3.55 rears and it towed it fine. Total weight about 20,000lbs. I didn't go over 50 mph. Keep in mind it will tow it fine, you just aren't going to get anywhere fast. I'm in eastern NC and it's flat!!! Going up Fancy Gap you will...- Eason

'93 f-350 DRW towing 15k total
I've pulled numerous 100+ hp IH tractors on my 24 ft PJ and either my 83 6.9 4 spd 3.55 rears or my 92 7.3 auto 3.55 rears. I wish I had 4.10s when loaded. The trucks do fine, you just don't get out and fly down the road. In NC my trucks are 8600 gvw and the trailer is 15,500 gvw for a combined...- Eason
