Yea you cannot see the oil plug wihout a mirror and a flashlight turbo on or leaning all the way over the engine with your head wedged under the cowl with the turbo off.
I think there might be a misunderstanding i was speaking about the npt plug going into the old oil pressure sensor location wich is in the directions for the banks sidewinder installation kit.
The drain for the valley pan behind the grommet for the turbo oil drain remained as is i did nothing...
So just wrapping this thread up, today i spent most of the day taking the turbo off once again to address the holes in the valley pan and found a moderate amount oil puddled around the drain.
It looked like the rtv around the drain for the turbo didnt quite seal up.
So i replaced the npt plug...
Oh alright, not sure how we got to inectors though, my oil leak was visable coming down sides of the engine near the back, not like i was just loosing/burning it
But good to know i had no idea there was anyway for the oil to return to the fuel tank that's wild.
Why do you ask about the oil level? But yes and it was a touch low because i had a leak wich was either the grommwt being pushed all the way in or the bad oil drain gasket that was ripped in half.
But as far as color it looked normal no water or fuel in it that i could tell. Smelled normal too...

Theese are the plugs i was talking about they are high temp up to 600 degrees and come in sizes all the way down to 1/16. Run some rtv around them.
I was...
Well im gonna sleep on it but right now im thinking of using some high temp silicone plugs for painting ill get a set foes frok 1/16 to 3/4. And for good measure ill slather some rtv around the outside for extra sealing.
I will still plan to eventually replace the valley pan.
Thank you eveyone...
Well **** me. What are the wholes going to cause to go wrong just out of curiosity.
And where can i get a new valley pan, and how hard is it to remove the intake?
The bigger whole behind grommet hole the one i didnt punch in there. What is it. Also should i put more holes in the sheet metal?
Got the turbo out cause i had a oil leaj i couldnt find. Grommet waa pushed into the whole. I figure that was my leak
Just had a good laugh thought id share, the local ford stealership wants 560$$ for the ftsv. 460 with a commercial discount.... guess ill be celaning mine, bypassing it or doing a single tank conversion.
Is there already a good thread for doing the bronco tank swap?
Alright guys im amazed by all the feedback, i am just now getting back from work ended up being a double.
Niether gauge works habent gotten to it, and im pretty sure that the shower heads are junk.
But aleast for now id like to avoid dropping tanks, thats something ill do in the future, i am...
