Need help confirming something 2000 Chevy TD

Hopefully the the stepper mtr fixed you problem. Awesome. use a vacuum gauge ant check the vacuum on the vacuum pump. If lower than 22hg then replace it. Change your fluid and filter in your tranny before your tranny self destructs. I'm sure you know burnt smell is bad.

Newer hydroboost on older truck swap

The issue will be the length of the shaft on the Hydro-boost. They are not adjustable nor removeable for safety. I'm sure you can remove it but at your own risk. Electric issues 93 6.5

I would remove everything electrical that is not stock on the truck. For accessories to actuate randomly there must be a common connection involved. I believe it has a ECM I would check that also there is a 5volt and check all your grounds.

    Hydroboost question

Thank you chillman88, I thought that’s how it was but I wanted to be sure I was not going to concave the retainer. I looks like the retainer is spring steel. Thanks again. ✅

    Hydroboost question

I am a new member to this forum. I also recently purchased a 1995 6.5L Turbo Chevrolet Z71 K1500. The hydroboost started leaking 1 week ago which obviously affected brakes and pwr steering. Found the rebuild thread that was generated on this forum by "ifrythings which is the best instructional...
