Had a 2 wheel drive long wheel base cowboy Cadillac F350 only used to pull race horses and second vehicle duty very well taken care of had T19 and needed overdrive for those long hauls. Got the GV installed at the factory in socal took a week for them to get the drive shafts right to their...
Well my post count here has nothing to do with what I have learned in the last 35 years of turning wrenches or college. So almost every other option is better in my opinion the best idea would be to go with the over drive transmissions that are out there and can be had for the same or cheaper...
I had one do almost exactly the same thing on a 84 6.9 2 wheel drive that was not ever hammered on, on highway only and no overweight loads. It was installed at the gear vendors factory and they didn't want to send another one to there dealer to replace it but finally did after my lawyer sent...

6.5 Navistar block

and injection pump?
Marine injectors?
What intake?
3000 rpm max
250-300 hp will be plenty
Things with question mark by them are...

What about the coated ones? I have some dually wheels tha the coating is coming off of. I thought about spinning them on the truck while on jack stands and using some wire brush or steel wool. Would a paint remover take the coating off? Then I could work on getting the scratches out and...
Yeah I used 2" spacer adapters so I can just bolt on any humvee wheels that I have, I have them on almost every small truck and trailer I have.
