Need help. How bad is can this be
Could have damaged injection pump or the engine, lots of potential for damage, check the engine oil for water and replace. Drain the fuel, flush the lines, replace the filters, bleed the injection lines. If you can, check compression, look at the glowplugs, start it and hope for the best.- corrado9184

Can't figure out this brake situation
you need to get a vacuum gauge and check the vacuum pump. it may sound like good vacuum but you don't know until you check it. I have had one have great vacuum but after the first pedal press it would go hard until the next time you started the truck. Took 3 New Vacuum pumps before i got one...- corrado9184

Twin Pyrometers?
my 85 idi was dual exhaust with Glasspacks before i turbocharged it. Everyone thought it was a gasser from the sound when you were on it, kinda miss all the noise!- corrado9184

If you own a VW automatic between 1995 and 2010 with 100000+ miles, RUN RUN AWAY !!! its a ticking time bomb! Nobody serviced them properly and they have lots of problems.These transmissions are junk, you might as well convert it to a standard. Just checked back, the bottom of the fan shroud would have to be trimmed off. 1994 XLT IDI BODY LIFT
i have a 3" on mine and the steering shaft is close to being too short, not sure of the brand, it came with the bolts and 3in nylon blocks. i have this same issue! replaced everything! the master cylinder, booster, Vacuum pump, new check valve, directly plumbed it to the master cylinder with new line, replaced the front calipers, front brake lines, flushed the brake system and adjusted the rear brakes! NA to Turbo woes: boost level, EGT, coolant temperature, studs?
I have an old 86 F350 4x4 6.9 IDI that had a 7.3 IDI put in it before i picked it up in 2008, i Just Recently put a somewhat Custom ATS093 kit on. Certain years better? Looking at tdi's
If its Volkswagen Automatic and earlier then 2009, RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That being said i enjoy my volkswagens but they were terrible at building an automatic that lasts, go for the manual. I own 14 volkswagens and the only Automatic before 2009...- corrado9184

if the Check engine light is on, Check the ECU boost reference hose. If it is not seeing correct boost it will limit power. any small leak will cause this, there is an internal line you need to check too.
