I have a 1989 460 truck that I idi swapped with the ZF five and I believe 4.10s, the smaller gap compared to the t19 I had the idi in before is amazing.
I am NA and the ZF doesn’t have that giant gap in the 3-4 shift it’s very helpful when hauling.

I ran into a serious problem with the wiring last night! I put my 87 diesel front harness into the 91 and than I learned that most of the plugs on the 91 are different, specifically the ones that relate to all things happening under and in the rear of the truck.
So now I have turn lamps and...
I had a close call with some rain!! Thankfully as soon as it started I thought “oh no I never checked to see if that truck has a good cowl seal” and ran over and threw a bag over the air cleaner. Of course it stopped raining shortly there after.
Maybe it can be one more thing for the trash bin then.
New aluminum fuel lines installed! I’m hoping a 30 foot loop of aluminum will help keep fuel temps down on the 110 degree days.

Just got my new alluminum fuel lines from summit today so I can put together the fuel system and get this thing ready to hopefully tow its old self to the scrap yard soon.
